Pipe Sealant

DESCRIPTION Pipe Sealant is a medium-strength, high-viscosity, dimethylacrylate ester-based adhesive which does not contain solvents and cures in the absence of oxygen. -

APPLICATION Pipe Sealant is suitable for bonding and sealing pipe threads and screwed joints.Pipe Sealant was developed for sealing screwed connections on brake systems, fuel systems, oil circuits of engines, hydraulic systems and water circuits etc.
In Germany, this has not been approved for use on domestic gas installations.

APPLICATIONS The components to be sealed must be free from contaminants such as oil films, dirt, paint or other coating materials. The optimum seal is achieved by roughening the surfaces. The sealant has been formulated so that the joint can be unscrewed using the appropriate tool, without damaging the thread.
